Classroom Expectations
I always have the highest of expectations for my students each and every day. In addition to following the school rules, our class earns "points" for going above and beyond the daily school rules. The class as a whole decides beforehand on what activity they would like to earn as a class "point party". Examples include: an ice-cream party, a stuffed animal party, a movie party, book/reading party, math games party, etc... The activity of choice is then written in connect-the-dot form on the large class white board. If a student or group of students exhibits "SOAR"ing behavior, a point will be added. This continues until all spaces are added to the connect-the-dot (traced in) until all letters of the activity are filled in. Upon completion, the class is awarded their "point party" for their given activity. |
